Nadanta presented “Renaissance Man”, a thematic dance production based on Rabindranath Tagore’s style of dancing, singing and reciting on July 30th, 2011. The scintillating performance was a true celebration of  the 150th birth anniversay of this Nobel Laureate, playwright, poet, song writer, novelist, educator, philosopher, painter, and humanist. For three hours, Nadanta’s talented artists mesmerized the audience with their diverse dances and vibrant costumes based on Tagore’s poetry. With every new performance, Nadanta artists, choreographed by their artistic director Chaula Thacker, continue to raise the bar on thematic dance presentations. Congratulations to the Nadanta artists for bringing another memorable event to Detroit audience ! We had the fortune to capture this beautiful event through our camera. Enjoy!!
